- Polymer processing (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, thermoforming, etc), characterization and formulation; design and optimization of polymer processing.
- Plastics injection mold/extrusion die design, plastic product design, and other polymer processing equipment design.
- Polymer material performance improvements through blending with additives and other polymers.
- Polymer composites compatibilization, interface strengthening and modeling.
- Polymer rheology, rheo-optical study and confocal microscopy.
